What is ASconnect?
Applied Sciences connect (ASconnect) is a career event organised especially for Applied Sciences students. It is organised by students from four different AS studies: Life Science & Technology, Molecular Science & Technology, Applied Physics and Nanobiology. Companies related to these studies will present what it means to work in this interdisciplinary field, giving students a better understanding of which opportunities are available to them after graduation.
The goal is to expose students to career opportunities within different companies. ASconnect differs from other career events, such as ‘Delft Career Days’, as it is organised specifically for the studies of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the TU Delft. By connecting them at this broad-ranged, yet specifically targeted event, we hope to help many students in finding interesting and suitable internships or jobs.
The companies are chosen based on their fundamental link to each study within the applied sciences to give a view of the broad possibilities for students after obtaining a BSc or MSc degree. Wondering how Asconnect chooses the companies? Find out more information here!
Students can pay a visit to company representatives at their stands, or listen to their experiences as they present themselves during presentation rounds. Talk to employees about the work they do and get to know the company in which you might work one day! Also, a very interactive networking round will be available so you will get the chance to chat with all the different companies.
For whom?
The event welcomes everyone who is interested in the field of applied physics, chemical engineering, biochemistry, biophysics, life sciences and biotechnology.
